Ron Paul has amassed quite possibly the weirdest conglomeration of supporters I've ever seen.

Freedom brings people together.

Obviously so does racism Wink

Blacks can be pretty racist, even more so then whites. They are just very quiet about it.

Never said racism had a color.

I'm going to take a wild guess and say Paul is pretty embarrassed by this. Even Pat Buchanan was embarrassed when Duke endorsed him years ago.

I wonder if Bush was embarrassed at being endorsed by the Klan.

Actually my experience tells me the opposite is true. Most of the racist black people I've met on and off-line were really open and belligerent about it. Generally out of a sense of entitlement.

Meth cooks, skinheads, and paranoid schizophrenics?

And other random things found on the internet.

Funny for a "libertarian" at least 25% of his support seems to come from out and out Fascists.

Which is why he's at like 1-2% of the vote, right?

Correct.

which is why Paul will not come anywhere close to winning the GOP nomination...I'd vote for a Dem before voting for Paul

You can't say Ron Paul is a fascist when he thinks the government should have less power. A fascist wants centralization of state and decision-making into his (or her) person.

A strong coalition of libertarians, Gold Bugs, Constitutionalists, Goldwater Republicans, hippies, 9-11 Truthers, strippers, Neo-Nazis, and dancing pizzas

Yeah, I'd like to see what would happen if someone got them all together in a room.  SPC in a knife fight against some internet fanboys who just came for the free food.

He seems to be pretty popular with the small segment of society known as "black Republicans" as well.

I never said he was. (Though there are quite a couple of similarties between *ahem* "libertarianism" in the US and fascism, more than first meets the eye.)

But alot of his supporters are, like well.. David Duke.

It would seem that Ron Paul's candidacy has the unique ability to unite blacks and Klansmen. Tongue
