Sounds like the Army to me...

"The Marine Corps is pressing to remove its forces from Iraq..."

"The idea by the Marine Corps commandant..."

As opposed to, as Bacon King quoted,

"It is not clear whether the Army would support the idea."

The Marine corps wants to move to Afghanistan, and the Army might go in - some people close to Army officials say they probably will.  It's to prove a point that memphis's post that "Marines want out if Iraq" was completely misleading.

saying 'the army wants into iraq' is completely a completely misleading statement, especially since the article explicitly states that the army is unsure of the idea.

and memphis's statement was not innacurate, just slightly tilted; though anyway two wrongs don't make a right.

Lol@Inks. You try so hard, my friend....you try so hard.

There is a difference between your kind of propaganda, and memphis', just one difference.

One of them at least has the possibility, and perhaps even likelihood of being true. The other is your post.

Well, if the army comes out with a press release, I'll be sure to post it.

The army is already in Iraq. If you had posted this in 2002, it may have been true.

And there are already Marines in Afghanistan.  You've been madea  total fool of, and this thread just shows how obviously dishonest your last thread was and how easy it is to create misimpressions with wordplay.

You intended to create the impression with your other thread that the Marine Corps has turned against the war when in fact they hadn't.  This thread is a parody of your argument, and a damn good one.

The Marine Corps has turned against the idea of being in Iraq themselves. That speaks the most to me.  The army hasn't commented on the plan so they don't "want" anything yet. Gee, I've been made into such a fool. I'm so embarassed and you're so clever Roll Eyes
