Because the people of the Mideast should have a choice of at least 2 candidates, and I already promised GPorter that I'd run.

It's a pretty straightforward question.  Hypothetically, if you are elected simultaneously as Vice President and as Mideast Senator, which office would you step aside from in order to occupy the other?

I'd most likely stick with the Mideast.  But I would talk with GPorter and Sensei first.  Again, this won't happen.

Just look at how he was in the Senate. By the legislation he proposed, his attitude, etc.

Sorry, I didn't see that you had responded.

To answer your question, no I will not be like DWTL.  Bills he proposed such as the Prohibition of Unions and Establishing an Official Language Bill were extreme.

He did have good legislature (such as tax breaks for those why bought hybrid cars), but I will only introduce relevant and meaningful legislature.

The only problem with that bill was that we already had two hybrid tax breaks on the books, combined with the hybrid tax breaks we grandfathered in from the United States.

He did have good legislature (such as tax breaks for those why bought hybrid cars), but I will only introduce relevant and meaningful legislature.

The only problem with that bill was that we already had two hybrid tax breaks on the books, combined with the hybrid tax breaks we grandfathered in from the United States.

I know.  My point here was that it was a good idea (just too late), unlike some of his other bills.

At this time I don't have an answer for this, but if I saw that an idea should be introduced as a bill, I would do so.
