I actually think Naso is genuinely trying to be funny a lot of the time. If he says that a Kerry Presidency would have resulted in lots and lots of terror attacks and thousands of people dying, my guess is that he doesn't really believe that, he's just trying to get a rise out of liberals in this forum. Well, at least I hope he is, for his sake.

John Engle was also a bit of a comedian. Intentionally funny, that is.

My vote goes to PD, even if he hasn't been in this forum for bloody ages. His fits of rage were priceless.

Naso's humor probably isn't always unintentional.  He may not be immediately be aware of the implications of what he writes but by the moment of clicking the "post" button I imagine the thought of humor in his post has popped up to him and he goes ahead and posts anyway.

I'd agree if it weren't for the webcam pictures of him appearing to have no shirt on.  You just can't actually be aware of the contents of what you're about to distribute to the world in that case and yet still go ahead with it.
