Barbour - 56.3%
Eaves - 43.7%

I also predict that the Republicans will take over the open Agriculture Commissioner and Secretary of State seats.

At this point, it's easiest to just let Tuesday's results blast you.

I think I can safely make a prediction that I won't have to eat my hat on.

Ag Commish isn't open.  Republican Lester Spell, who negligently cost the state $55 million, will hopefully be defeated by Democrat Ricky Cole.

Whoops, I meant Insurance Commissioner.

This article is for Harry (and anyone else I guess). Talks about Eaves the candidate.

The 2003 election ended 53-45. I say this one goes 54-46 Barbour.

The two-day silence after that last post speaks surprisingly well of people here.

Final result:

Barbour 415,512 (58.1%)
Eaves 300,078 (41.9%)

So much for not knowing anything about Mississippi because I don't live there.
