Liechtenstein: belongs to Atlasia and always has done. We want it back, or there will be trouble.

Sounds like Adolf Hitler:-p

Exactly what kind of restrictions are we talking about here?  Is Russia to be the "new Cuba"?

I have some concerns that "full restrictions" may prove extremely detrimental to the citizenry of these countries.

Generally in full agreement (but I note we have no immediate plans to bomb Cardiff?)

Anyway, yes all well and good.
Russia may be a tad harsh; and I'm not sure we should take a position on Belgian separation/unity, but besides that, looks good.

In celebration of the Socialist victory in Chartres, the Republic of Atlasia has fired all its nuclear missiles at the UMP headquarters. Thankfully, because Atlasia is not the US, it doesn't have any.

As President there are two areas in the European review that I find suspect. First would be the rather vitriolic denouncement of former Prime Minister Berlusconi, which is unneeded and will not likely endear us to a rightist government in Italy when one is elected. I would also second Jas' statement that the policy on Russia is too harsh for my standards and I would like it loosened. We also should not take a position on Belgian seperatism.

My main objection is that the position on Armenia is undesirably soft.

The Republic of Atlasia recognises Kosovo.

I'd guess Atlasia is the first in the world to officially do so. Smiley

Thats what I like to see. A very good move by the DoEA. We should begin talks immediately with Serbia and Russia, however. Not my job to run this place anymore, but it was a natural instinct to at least comment. Just no wars over Kosovo, now. Grin

I congratulate the secretary on his activity and I am concrned over the strength of wording on our Russia position. I would also appreciate, in the fullness of time, a more descriptive analysis of each nation, a process I would be happy to aid the Department in following the election.

I would like to thank the SoEA for giving Atlasia the honour of the first "nation" to recognize Kosovo. I fully support his decision.

Some istatements:

1. The Republic of Atlasia is pleased that Fidel Castro has resigned. We would, however, like to see his regime replaced with a democracy, rather than see the dictatorial bureaucracy masquerading as a Marxist state continue.

2. Frankly, we aren't too happy about embassies getting attacked. Serbian nationalists need to grow up.

Various less-than-great news involving the actions of people in the DEA's real-life equivilents or involving people for who said bodies are responsible for. Not quite sure what the official reaction should be. None? Apologies? Resignation? I don't know. This is part of the problem with fantasylands current confused status though.

Our position towards Russia is concerning. I would like a full explanation on the reasonings for the full restrictions placed on the Russian Federation.
