Is Tom Ridge Being Pushed Out?

First there was the declaration of a terrorist threat by John Ashcroft (at the same time Ridge was saying there was no heightened threat).

Then there were reports that Ridge was going to leave the position because he "needed money to pay for his kids college".  (Yet he makes $170k annually, owns a $900K home, and over $200K in stock.  Gee, how do normal people pay for college Tom?)

And lastly there is today's announcement of the creation of the position of intelligence chief (a role which sounds much like Ridge's current position).

Is Tom Ridge being pushed out?
