Out of curiosity, is this a complete list of major party presidential or vice presidential nominees in US history who were Catholic?:

presidential nominee
1928 Al Smith
1960 John F. Kennedy
2004 John Kerry

vice presidential nominee
1984 Geraldine Ferraro

Is that it?  Am I missing someone?  If not, I guess if Giuliani wins the '08 GOP nomination, he'd be the first Catholic nominated by the GOP for either president or vice president.  I'm guessing he'd also be the first presidential nominee of either party whose ancestry is primarily Italian?

Technically, you could include Thomas Eagleton, I suppose, since he was nominated by the Democratic party as its Vice-Presidential candidate in 1972.
