Now I am officially registered in Arkansas (temporarily at least)

Sorry to be hounding on you again, but I'm pretty sure there's some amount of time that must elapse before you can reregister in a new location.

I think you're mixing that up with party affiliation. You have to wait 60 days to change your party affiliation.

Vice versa. You can change affiliation at any time. You have to wait 60 days to move. If you had to wait to change affiliations, we might actually have a coherent party system.

Verily is right, you can change affiliation anytime, states/regions only after 60 days.

The Sound Minds Save Lives Initiative

1. No person who has been deemed "mentally ill" and met one of the following criteria shall be allowed gun ownership:

civil commitment to an inpatient psychiatric hospital, found not guilty by reason of insanity, or clinically diagnosed as schizophrenic or psychotic.

2. No mentally ill person shall be denied due process as the legal status of his mental health; absent a Living Will or or existing power of attorney, the governor or magistrate may appoint representation and bestow mental health power of attorney on behalf of this person if it is deemed he cannot tell reality from fantasy and is unable to assist in his defense.

Though the "free" move obviously is allowed in this situation.

See the registration thread, page 83.

Specifically clause 7, Section 2, Article 5? gives you the right to change your registration once every sixty days. You didn't change it the first time, you simply established it. You changed it by moving to Arkansas and are stuck there for sixty days.

Still doesn't make the proposition valid of course.

And you can't get around that fact by just listing all the state's municipalities.

I don't think that's true. Just because you pinkos don't want me proposing this abortion initiative dosen't mean it's illegal.

Will you stop calling pinkos when you clearly don't have a clue what the definition of a pinko-commie is?

How about this, Woz. If you get the required three signatures for that initiative, I will take a full examination of the legal precedents involved and make a decision then. And at that point, if you disagree with me, you can always take me to court.

Law defines municipalities as bodies smaller than states, and we have no instrument in Southeast Initiative law to administer elections in those municipalities, no voters to vote in the races, and no GM to have the election results produced.

Jake is correct, in my interpretation.  Municipality elections are not meant for actual formers but are established simply for the principle of popular sovereignty with the decisions wrought by them purely representative of virtual atlasians.

I hope so. Because that's a blatant violation of the establishment clause right there.

Lower Signature Requirements for Initiatives to Appear on the Ballot Initiative

The number of signatures required for an initiative to appear on the ballot shall be one, excluding the proposer of the initiative.

---

I'll sign anything still needed signatures.
