There probably aren't that many urbanites posting here.

I'd say in general, suburbanites have more disdain for urbanites, as more people in the suburbs probably want to live their than those that live in the city.

I'd say that there's probably an ample number in both categories, though suburbanites who have a distaste for urbanites might be more prominently seen as they're more likely to be wealthy.

Boy, that's dumb. Trying to justify living in hell-holes called American cities, and then claiming people who don't agree with you as being racist? I sure hope you have a better argument than that, especially since some suburbs are more diverse than the cities they were built on.

Uh, there are so many different types of suburbs. Really the only thing they have in common is single family homes. Just as the types of cities really only have high density buildings in common. Please stop being stupid.

I just saw Into the Wild in Ambler, PA, a suburb of Philadelphia.

My hometown has a theater that plays foreign and independent movies (had one that would've been NC-17 as well recently) and that's in a rural area. Cities certainly don't have a monopoly on art films.

And since when is "culture" defined as "things BRTD likes"?

I was in Ontario last year and the "boring suburb" of Mississauga had a lot more culture than Toronto. So there.
