Adam was 2 Term Senator and Attorney General for Ohio.  Petes wife (and Adams mom) was the Lt. Gov of Texas, After Pete Died in 1993 She Moved to Texas  and was Elected Lt. Gov. Most recently Adam's Daughter was a Sate Rep For ohio and will be on Showtimes "American Candadate"

The Clintons. Hey, I like the Clintons. So sue me. Wink

I guess the Rockefellers deserve an honourable mention, but since Nelson is the only member of that family I really know anything about my judgement would not necessarily be a qualified one.

The Kennedys, as much as I admire JFK and RFK, had too many black sheep in their family for me to really respect them as a dynasty. As for the Bushes... erm, well...

Agree.
They are so hated by the Conservatives that you must love them.

The Kennedy's produced relatively few leaders, compared to the Tafts, Bushes, or Roosevelts.

The greates is listed on th "Political Graveyard" site is the "Armstrong-Bayard-Clayton," which includes at least three Presidents.

It's a good site:

My favorites are the Clintons, the Kennedys (in the 60s mostly), and the Rockefellers.

The Clintons are not a political family yet.  Chelsea or her children will have to take up the banner for it to really be a family business.
