So, what do you think about it?

If it happens will the election be resumed to:

A young black newer politician vs. a white evangelical pastor, with the US citizens to choose between these 2 sorts of peoples, no matter the issues?

At least Obama has some establishment support. The establishment can't figure out how to stop Huckabee, whose views are about the same as Jimmy Carter's.

Ugh.  Excuse me while I throw up.

Can you imagine the debates?  One of them will be talking about hope and change incessantly, and the other will be talking about how he thinks being a politician and a preacher is one and the same.

Yeah, Iowa is lame.

Obama has also an important religious part, even if different from the Huckabee's one.

Hehehe, why not, the debates could be around religion.

that's what I fear: that Huckabee will try to turn the election into a war over protestant theology. However, it will probably hurt him if he does.

Guaranteed no - it won't be Huckabee.  MAYBE Obama - I still say Edwards wins Nevada and comes back.
