Surprisingly great numbers for Barack. Smiley

Good numbers for Huckabee as well considering that he is still an unknown quantity to a lot of people.

Anyone else notice Romney’s numbers?    Not bad for a flip-flopping Mormon from Massachusetts in a Bible Belt state.   His poll numbers will only continue to go up since everywhere Romney seems to go, people tend to take a liking to him.

The media has oversaturated us with Hillary, Obama, and Edwards, to the point that they have reached their ceiling and have nowhere to go but down.   Romney will go up.

I wonder when Democrats will start to worry.

Maybe when Republicans actually start leading polls. This is a Republican state and the Democrats lead in every matchup but one. Why the hell should we be the ones worried?

Because Democrats, unfortunately, have a long and well-established history of miscalculating and screwing things up.   Part of this phenomena has to do with poor overall strategy, but most of it has to do with choosing deeply flawed candidats who the American public simply rejects.  Just ask Presidents George McGovern, Jimmy Carter(2nd term), Walter Mondale, Mike Dukasis, and John Kerry.

Can't argue with that.  The Democratic establishment seemed to love snatching defeat from the jaws of victory.  Thank God 2006 was so lopsided that they couldn't screw it up.  Fortunately the last election has not only broken the Democrats losing streak, it's clearly pushed everything in our favor.  (More money, more endorsements, etc.)

It's still pretty good news for the dems.  Although, I don't think you could soil Hillary anymore than she is. Her numbers will be pretty stable. However, the GOP candidate will be for Hillary to shape since they are less recognized. This looks too much like 2004 in terms of publicity for Hillary to lose and though she won't get more than 51% of the vote, she will get 50% or at least 49.5%, if 1% goes to an indy.

Why do you assume that just because someone is a Senator they can't be more popular than a governor? Seriously, Romney will never be popular with average people because he is a Mormon and he is an flipp-flopping moderate turned Uber-Conservative, as shown with his views on Guantanmo.
