People may think I'm strange for doing this, but I would like to get your feedback on this. Do you have any ideas on possible Atlasian Presidential candidates this coming February?

Seriously, though, I'm considering a possible run.

Go Rocky 09!  Lol, but seriously, on the side of liberals I could see Sensei and SOS trying again.  And I hope Polnut does again so he can win:-D

POTENTIAL PRESIDENTIAL CANDIDATES IN FEBRUARY

  • Governor of the Southeast, BaconKing
  • Mideast Senator, Sensei
  • Vice President, Jas
  • Southeast Senator, Sam Spade
  • Governor of the Northeast, MAS117
  • Former Senator, Dave Hawk
  • Mr. Gporter
  • Mr. WillyWoz

I'm just listing people's thoughts on the issue of the February Presidential Election. These people may or may not decide to run for the Presidency of the Republic.

Polnut said he wasn't going to be running for anything for a long time.

I bet Willy Woz decides to run. I would strongly support Bacon King, Jas, Rocky or PolNut for the Presidency of the current speculated candidates, and I certainly wouldn't say no to Sensei, either.

We have no terms limits, either, so Colin could conceivably run again. It would move from unprecedented to a bit excessive, though.

I know Ive said it a million times before, but I do not plan to run for the presidency, but instead run for re election a couple of times, so you can take me off the list for both offices.

I'm predicting a lower turn-out than the last election.

I actually said I can't see it happening.

I'd consider it if I felt the time was right. But don't take too much from that at this point.

I'm predicting a lower turn-out than the last election.

That would be pretty shocking - turnout was appalling low in October as it was, though that could mostly be blamed on the race being a foregone conclusion. The next race should be closer, if not genuinely close.

The Federalist Party will be running as "as-yet-to-be-named"candidate.

Not to mention the fact that it will probably be seriously contested.

Almost surely Sam Spade, for the Southeast.

Almost surely Sam Spade, for the Southeast.

I'd gladly support Spade for President, but the odds of him winning an Atlasia-wide election, as the Senator himself has acknowledged, are close to nil at this current stage.

I hope he continues to run for the Vice Presidency.

I'd support him for either.

I'd run if GPorter would be my running mate. Together, we can help heal.

The Constitution rightly stems my ability to continue to wield the immense political powers of the office of the Vice President for another term before they consume me in a Lord of the Rings type fashion.

I'd vote for him, not over a few others, but he is probably one of the closest to me politically.
