Annabel Crabb was spot on about that the current Abbot Ministry will never work together again.

No matter who wins the contest, there will be a significant reshuffle and the ending of careers after tonight.

Laura Jayes from Sky News is now saying there are reports Scott Morrison has done a deal with Abbott to become Deputy Leader.

Who the f**k knows what's going on at this point.

EDIT: Now Morrison is backing Abbott but not running for Deputy.

Like I said the Cabinet is literally dissolving.

I'm a little worried for Turnbull, I must say. Morrison probably sways a fair amount of votes and there's been a lack of Ministers coming out for Turnbull.

He's still the favourite no doubt, although the margin will probably be lower than previously thought.

Dutton won't be standing for Deputy.

Yeah, this has the feeling of a close one.  December 2009, anyone?

It will be close. Turnbull people are less confident, but expecting 60-40.

Some senior Lib MPs are saying Abbott's handling of the chopper-gate issue was the impetus for their shift in loyalty.

Did Truss ever make a statement or did everybody just forget to cover it?

Jeff Kennett (somewhat surprisingly, given that he isn't exactly on the Abbott wing of the Liberal party if I recall correctly) majestically craps all over Turnbull on Twitter.

It seems to have disappeared into oblivion, like many things related to Warren Truss.

Truss speaking right now. Don't the Nationals think Malcolm is a massive tosspot?

It doesn't matter. The Liberals are the Nationals' life-support system. Completely empty.

Turnbull walks in with Wyatt Roy, Mal Brough, Arthur Sinodinos, Mitch Fifield, Scott Ryan and Peter Hendy.

Abbott walks in flanked by what appears to be the majority of his supporters.

And we have a new Prime Minister.

I think that's as good a time as any to start a new thread after 95-odd pages.
