He seems consistantly pathetic on state-by-states though.

Huckabee would likely match up well against Clinton or any other DLC-style Democrat.

Obama would neutralize his strengths (economic fairness and Christian appeal) and geat him on all the other issues.

The two of them are very similar on some of the issues, and their long-term goals are close, even if their methods are different.  I can't see either being a bad choice in the end.  Either should do well in neutralizing the partisan hatred that currently exists on both sides and bring some calm back to politics.

Although I could never vote for someone who doesn't believe in evolution and seems to strongly support the Iraq War, part of me would be rooting for Huckabee if he went up against Clinton in the general election.

So? We're not voting for a national scientist.

Good thing no science based bills come through the executive office, and that a lack of belief in evolution has no ties to thier general view on science. Tongue Smiley

As has been stated before, somebody who doesn't believe in evolution is not smart enough to be president.

He will be seen as soft of education and learning, like Bush, despite NCLB. He will soon be Dukasis'd and protrayed as soft of crime with his own little Willie Horton episode. He just seems to be Bush but with a straw hat instead of a leather hat. He's basically all that is ridiculed and praised in Bush.
