The latest poll conducted by agency Puls for Jutarnji list and HRT from October 3 to October 19 found that the Social Democratic Party of Croatia had 5 seast more in the Parliament (projected number of seats in brackets):

    * Social Democratic Party of Croatia - 30.3% (58 seats)
    * Croatian Democratic Union - 30.3% (53 seats)
    * Croatian Peasant Party-Croatian Social Liberal Party-Alliance of Primorje-Gorski Kotar - 5.5% (7 seats)
    * Croatian People's Party – Liberal Democrats - 5.3% (7 seats)
    * Croatian Party of Pensioners – 5.3% (6 seats)
    * Croatian Party of Rights - 4.6% (5 seats)
    * Istrian Democratic Assembly - 1.9% (3 seats)
    * Croatian Democratic Assembly of Slavonija and Baranja 0 .9%
    * Others - 1.5%
    * Not sure - 11.0%

Undecided voters, the same poll showed, prefer SDP 13.2% over 11.0% for Croatian Democratic Union.

I'll most likely support the HNS, or Democratic Centre (minor)

I just seen a big croatian newspaper headline screaming

SDP 36

HDZ 34

...which made me think the election must have been yesterday... but apparently then, it was just a poll.

Election today, likely to be a close race between HDZ/SDP with minor parties losing votes compared to 2003

Possibly HDZ-HSS-HSLS-HNS or maybe IDS. The thing is, the social democrats don't have anyone to form govenrment with except the 8 minorities' MPs, since all the other parties are right-wing.
