Most of the questions I wasn't happy with any of the options so I selected nothing... but I got Jeff Sessions at 3% (lowest), 9 of my lowest 10 were republicans (including a certain R.S from PA) and Zell Miller - all my top 10 were democrats with Feingold at 35% (highest) with Kerry equal with him; apart from that disturbing last factoid pretty much what I would have guessed.

(Enter BRTD to point out that Santorum is no longer a senator)

Dodd, Durbin, Feingold and Wyden tied for the lead at 55%; bottom of the heap were Alexander and Sessions at 10% each. Pretty out-of-date, too.

Ten best matches:

Jim Jeffords- 40% (19% Social; 50% Economic)
Hillary Clinton - 38% (50% Social; 29% Economic)
Lincoln Chafee- 38% (25% Social; 46% Economic)
Gordon Smith- 38% (19% Social; 50% Economic)
Richard Durbin- 35% (44% Social; 29% Economic)
Barbara Boxer- 35% (44% Social; 29% Economic)
John Kerry- 35% (44% Social; 29% Economic)
Pat Roberts- 35% (6% Social; 54% Economic)
Bob Smith- 35% (6% Social; 54% Economic)
Chris Dodd- 35% (50% Social; 25% Economic)

Ten worst matches:

Ben Nelson- 5% (0% Social; 8% Economic)
Lisa Murkowski- 13% (0% Social; 21% Economic)
Mark Pryor- 15% (13% Social; 21% Economic)
John Cornyn- 15% (6% Social; 21% Economic)
Bob Graham- 15% (13% Social; 21% Economic)
Elizabeth Dole- 15% (6% Social; 21% Economic)
Robert Byrd- 18% (6% Social; 25% Economic)
Mary Landrieu- 18% (19% Social; 17% Economic)
Tom Carper- 18% (13% Social; 21% Economic)
Harry Reid- 18% (19% Social; 17% Economic)

I assumed that my best matches would still be low because there are no libertarian-leaning senators.  I find it very interesting that the senator who is the worst match has the same first and last name as myself.

1. Judd Gregg [58]
2. Don Nickles [53]  (why is he here?)
3. Pat Roberts [50]
3. Dick Lugar [50]
3. Ted Stevens [50]
3. Chuck Grassley [50]
7. John McCain [48]
7. Mitch McConnell [48]
7. Trent Lott [48]
7. Larry Craig [48] (unfortunate)

At the very bottom of the list:
47. Hillary Clinton [8]  (with an impressive 0 on social)
47. Paul Wellstone
47. Dick Durbin
47. Russ Feingold

Wasn't very confident in my answers (I waffle on a few of the hot-button topics), so this could easily change.

I'm anti-gun control, anti-affirmative action, anti-campaign reform, and pro-choice/gay rights, so that puts me overall towards the center of the Democrats.

You cover all the bases, Josh.

I got a 0% social score compared with Ted Stevens. I'm too lazy to share the rest and no one cares anyways but that made me amused.
