I actually considered to start a "Who was general secretary of the CPSU the day you were born?" thread of my own... then I noticed that half of the users here probably couldn't particpate. Some of the answers in the Secretary of State/Defense thread made me feel really old... Tongue

Btw, I'm a Brezhnev boy.

If the KPRF counts, then mine would be Gennady Zyuganov. Smiley

There seems to have been no CPSU leader by 1992 and the KPRF was founded in 1993. Sad

Someone should ask "How many 'on the day you were born' threads were there on the day you were born?"

Wait twelve years and then we'll do that.

That's if the Forum is around in 12 years time, which I highly doubt. Makes me think why do I bother spending time on this forum, oh well.

Anyway I'm a Yeltsin boy Wink

Gorbachev.

Seriously, there's a significant post-USSR contingent on this forum?  Scary.  Not that I remember the existence of the USSR myself, but still...

I was born under Yelstin in his early term, though it seems crazy that my father was born under Stalin!
