Polling so far has shown this race to be close with big undecideds.  I am convinced that Udall will end up leading the way once the Presidential campaign gets underway next year.  The result will be almost an exact replica of 2004, when Ken Salazar defeated Pete Coors by a 51%-47%.  Although Udall is more of a fully-fledged liberal than the more moderate Salazar, Colorado has changed enough to put a liberal Democrat in the Senate over a conservative Republican by a narrow margin.
