Reports are circulating through Kentucky this week that Greg Stumbo will soon release his poll numbers and they are extremely encouraging for true conservatives around the Commonwealth. Rumors are that Stumbo included a 3 way polling question to test how he stacked up against Mitch McConnell and Larry Forgy. The results appear that Larry Forgy is nearly within the margin of error (+/- 4.5 percent):

    28. If the election for the U.S. Senate were held today, for whom would you vote?

    1. Republican Mitch McConnell - 34 percent
    2. Democrat Greg Stumbo - 31 percent
    3. Independent Larry Forgy - 27 percent

I find these numbers somewhat hard to believe; what are the other polls saying?

Kentucky has such a longstanding tradition of supporting Independent, Progressive candidates.  Forgy can go only up from here.
