Hillary Clinton and Bill Richardson defeat the GOP ticket of Rudy Giuliani and Tim Pawlenty in the 2008 election.

Clinton is inaugurated on January 20th 2009. She begins her term well. She promises to bring the troops home within the first six months of her presidency. She does not keep her promise. With events occurring around the world and the war needing to continue on, Clinton finds that she cannot keep her promise about the troops. She is forced to send 2500 more troops to Iraq to continue to fight.

At home, the economy falls into a recession in early 2009 and continues through the middle of 2010. This recession had been looming throughout the year of 2008 but did not officially hit until spring of 2009. Clinton and Richardson continue to make a strong team, though their approval polls are sagging. With the ongoing war in Iraq and the recession, they find not much way to turn.

Clinton tries to get her health care plan passed, the one that she promised would give health care to all Americans. This proves to be a disaster. As it is not passed three times by a democratic congress. This puts Clinton in an even bigger hole.

In the 2010 midterm races, the republicans take back the senate and leave the house with a narrow democratic majority. Clinton is glad that she still has the house to work with as her and the speaker of the house are friends.

However, the 2010 mid term races prove to be little help to the democratic administration. Clinton is forced to raise taxes in the summer of 2011. This again does not go over well with the American people.

The war is still continuing at this point.

At this time the republican race is setting up.

Rudy Giuliani declines to run again, but Bill Frist decides to get back into politics as he announces his bid for the GOP nomination. Ron Paul announces his candidacy for the GOP nomination. With no strong opposition to his nomination, Frist sweeps the republican primaries and wins overwhelmingly on the first ballot at the GOP convention. Frist selects Jim Douglas as his running mate.

On the democratic side, Hillary Clinton and Bill Richardson face no opposition to their renomination and they are nominated unanimously at the democratic convention.

Which ticket will win in this match up? Discuss with maps.

Well both of you are hacks. That's why nobody ever bothers to seriously comment on either of your accumulated sh**t.
