Here's mine:

McCain/Ridge: 299
Clinton/Richardson: 239

The election hinges on swing states of Michigan, Ohio, Pennsylvania, New Hampshire and New Mexico. Michigan, and New Mexico both fall to Clinton by a less-than 100,000 vote margin. Ohio and Pennsylvania fall to McCain, although Pennsylvania by less than Ohio. New Hampshire has to go to a state mandated recount, which goes on with the election already declared for McCain. Clinton wins New Hampshire by a few hundred votes.

Senator Barack Obama/Senator Christopher Dodd (D): 315 Electoral Votes

Former Governor Mike Huckabee/Congressman Mike Pence (R): 223 Electoral Votes

These are my predictions as of December 31, 2007. The race will be between Senator Barack Obama and former Governor Mike Huckabee. Huckabee will hold onto two swing states that went for Bush in 2004 (Ohio and West Virginia). But Obama will do better in the West, it's a gut feeling I have. Thus the Electoral Map above.

Former Senator John Edwards/Senator Barack Obama (D):393 EV
Former Gov. Mitt Romney/Senator John McCain (R): 145 EV

Edwards kills Romney in all the debates and wins this election before it starts. John McCain does little to gain any states.

Likewise with Barack Obama accepting the running mate position on any Democratic ticket.

Clinton / Bayh vs. Romney / Huckabee

Romney does decently enough, but still loses by a large margin.

I like this one (even though I think there's zero chance of Chambliss being chosen) just because it's based on something other than "TREND TREND TREND" and "EVERY ELECTION WILL BE LIKE 2004 FOREVER!" Not that I think Kentucky is more likely to vote Dem than Virginia, but at least there's more thought involved behind this.

Romney 317
Edwards 221

If Romney can run a campaign where he paints himself as a competent reformer, this map is possible if Edwards is the nominee.    John Edwards is a disaster waiting to happen.  No accomplishments of any kind, no relevant experience, a liberal senator whose previous career was a trial lawyer.

America is not ready for a leftist populist with a socialist platform.   And he talks like he's retarded.

Reformer in what way? Since Romney has taken 500 different positions on every issue, it'll be had for him to say he'll reform anthing. The voters at large don't support the same sort of issues as the religious base, and the base will kill him if he emphasizes his governorship.

That's laughable.  Romney wouldn't even be in this race if it weren't for that stupid ass gay marriage tiff up in Kennedyville.  He probably used to support gay marriage to.   Wouldn't surprise me.  And he didn't do a damn thing other than take out his veto stamp and hold a press conference.  All of a sudden he's a hero for thinking gays are a threat to your family.  And they are too.  Gays have ruined more lives than terrorist... this much is a proven fact.  Watch out for the Mauve Hand... they're coming to getcha.

He actually made a valid point? How can a flip flopper like Romney be a reformer, if what he wishes to reform changes according to who he is speaking to?

No, Xahar did make a very valid point yes, but since when do trolls take those into account?

As I said before, this is a Mikey style argument:

Person A: Man I can't wait till I have all that money and I'm a millionaire!
Person B: What makes you think you're going to become a millionaire?
Person A: My stocks in X Company. They're no doubt going to soar and I'll become rich.
Person B: Huh? X Company isn't doing all that well lately, they're dropping in value...
Person A: Whatever. Just wait a month until I'm rich and then you'll wish you had been like me and bought those stocks. I'm going to laugh SOOOO hard at you then and you're going to regret everything you said, and being the paid shill you are for their main competitor Y Company.
Person B: Uh, I don't care about Y Company at all. In fact I own a few shares of X Company myself, I hope it does well, but there's no reason not too.
Persona A: Blah blah blah, whatever. Go back to sucking Y Company's CEO's cock you shill.

Clinton/Clark vs. Romney/McCain*

*I believe Romney will name a military/foreign policy guy from the Senate to his ticket.  My first thought was McCain, but John Warner, Dick Lugar or maybe Lindsay Graham could also fit. Graham would help most with Conservatives.

*Y-A-W-N*

Then I guess we should just cancel the 2008 presidential election altogether since a Democrat is almost certain to win.  You know, just like John Kerry winning in 2004 was an inevitable certainty.  LOL
