Fortunately for Dems on this forum, Indys can vote in New Hampshire too.  Obama probably wins NH and then the race becomes interesting, very...  Smiley

Dodd is dropping out.

But he got an impressive 0.02%.

Walter must have moved to Iowa just in the nick of time!

Anyone got a link to the speech?  I'd like to see it (and other candidates', as well).

No to rain on the Obama parade...but its way too early to think about Denver yet...If Clinton can survive New Hampshire and to Feb 5th...she could still be a mighty big obstacle when New York and California roll around.

Its an amazing speech though, and I believe he has the ability to make it to Denver. He sounds commited, while you could tell Hillary was licking her wounds as she left the podium earlier.

Here's an excerpt from a CNN article on the results:

"With 97 percent of precincts reporting, Obama had the support of 38 percent of voters, compared to 30 percent for John Edwards and 29 percent for Hillary Clinton."

If Bush is "Mr. 26%", can we start calling Clinton "Mrs. 29%"? Wink

Obama's speech is good.  Very good.  I would probably be supporting him if it weren't for his lack of foreign policy experience.  His opinion on Iraq is just so contrary to mine.

CNN kept telling me that I was missing a plugin when I attempted to watch Obama's speech.  Oh well, I'll catch it on YouTube tomorrow, since I have a feeling it ain't gonna take long for it to show up.

Was he doing a King impression? Like, for serious???

Clinton's speech was much better, more gracious and presidential. And the continuing underdog card is bullsh**t.

Very poor speech.

Shouldnt you be more worried about your boy Rudy's poor showings in Iowa and New Hampshire...and pretty much every other early state out there pre-super tuesday...if most people still support him anyways.

Hillary's speech was weak, and you could hear defeat when she spoke. Obama was very powerful, and sounded commited to win through Super Tuesday. I had doubts before but not now.
