I recently started working at a book store in my city part time for extra money.  The store manager left to go back to school, so I applied for the position, and I got it!  I start on Monday, and although the pay isn't great, I get pretty good benefits (paid vacation, holidays, insurance, 401k).  I also like it because it is located down town, so I can walk everywhere during lunch (our city still has all services available downtown).

The best part is that I have a lot of freedom to run the store as I see fit and I do all the hiring.

So I thought I'd share that and I'm sure you're all just positively ecstatic to hear it!
