WHat the hell is this?  I thought the results were going to be tonight?  Paul in second place!?  This is just a bizarre dream, I know it.

The AP has called Nevada for Mitt Romney based on entrance polls.  CNN wisely waits for votes to come in.

If those entrance poll results are accurate, it should be something like:

Romney 41%
Paul 23%
McCain 12%
Thompson 9%
Huckabee 7%
Giuliani 5%

The Republican caucus was in the morning. The Democratic caucus is at midday (all Pacific time).

352 voters interviewed ? MoE = 7% ? Not really credible yet ...

Looking at the entrance poll, Romney won through dominating the Mormon vote and getting most other white Protestants as well.

Still, I wouldn't be too surprised. Early morning caucus means only the really motivated--Paul supporters and Mormons--would show up.

Evangelicals must be going through a confusing time, if they are voting for a Mormon, over a Baptist Pastor. Idiots.

If the entrance poll is right, then Giuliani should end up with zero delegates once again.

Gotta love this:  Wolf Blitzer repeatedly saying, "We are not going to call the Nevada caucus results yet.  It's too early to do that."  But, "We can report that the AP has called Nevada for Mitt Romney."  And there's a big crawl at the bottom of the screen that keeps repeating, "AP reports Romney wins NV GOP caucus."  And Blitzer and company still saying, "Oh, but did I mention that we here at CNN do not call results till they're confirmed.  Oh, and did I mention that AP has projected that Romney wins.  And in case you missed me saying that, there's a repeating crawl on your screen that Romney is the winner.  But, just to be clear, we at CNN are *not* reporting that Romney wins.  Oh, but the AP says Romney wins.  This is an important win for him.  A very important win for Romney.  Oh, but we here at CNN are *not* prepared to call it."

These guys are as bad as the candidates.

Big win for Romney, right in McCain's back yard.

Romney is on a roll.

Well, after McCain won in New Hampshire, now they're sort of even.

GOP electorate was 22% Mormon and went 95% to Romney.  We now know that Romney can take Utah. Wink

First handful of results are in; Romney leads with Huckabee and Paul tied for second. Tiny parts of Elko and Clark Counties.

Not really. 20% of the Republican electorate was Mormon and all the Romney had to do was get another 10% and he would have won. Not that big of a win.

lovely.  more 'democrats' having orgasms over ron paul.

you 'democrats' need to elect him.  he will let you keep your guns!  never know when a drug-crazed negro might break in your house.

ron paul is looking out for you!  just ask david duke.

I don't support hardly anything Paul supports, I just like to see an underdog do well. And all the Republicans who really, really hate him have to watch him do well in their primary.
