Evangelicals must be going through a confusing time, if they are voting for a Mormon, over a Baptist Pastor. Idiots.

Big win for Romney, right in McCain's back yard.

Romney is on a roll.

Not really. 20% of the Republican electorate was Mormon and all the Romney had to do was get another 10% and he would have won. Not that big of a win.

lovely.  more 'democrats' having orgasms over ron paul.

you 'democrats' need to elect him.  he will let you keep your guns!  never know when a drug-crazed negro might break in your house.

ron paul is looking out for you!  just ask david duke.

I don't support hardly anything Paul supports, I just like to see an underdog do well. And all the Republicans who really, really hate him have to watch him do well in their primary.
Same here.

It really would not matter to you how Romney wins a caucus or a primary, you and others like you will try to find anything to use as an excuse for you to say Romney did not really have much of a victory.

Yes, according to Bill Schneider, 25% of Republican voters in the caucus are Mormon, although only 12% of the Nevada population overall is Mormon.

However, Romney also carried the evangelical vote over Huckabee.

Romney coming in with a majority, or a near majority, of the vote is nonetheless a big win.
He probably won't get a near majority though....

What will be the effect of the news circulating the NV Romney win on the people who are still voting in SC ? Will it lead to a slight Romney bump ?
I don't think so. Why would it?

I think so.

CNN's entrance poll breaks it into two religion categories, one which counts Mormons as Protestant (wtf?). But in the second, it appears Mormons make up 25% of the voters, and Romney won 94% of them. With those numbers, no other candidate stood a chance. However Romney also won Catholics and Protestants, though Paul wins "Other Christians" (Takes up 15% of the voters, so it's not some small numbers either. Whats it mean?) over Romney 32-23.

Well, many Evangelicals do not consider themselves Protestants, but somehow I can't see Paul winning Evangelicals.
He could have won them because of young Evangelicals.

Get this straight, once and for all, Romney is  Mormon, but he is not a Mormon candidate.

He is a serious contender for President.

He is a Presidential candidate.

It's like Obama, he is black, but he is not a black candidate.  He is a Presidential candidate.

It's like Clinton, she is a woman, but she is not a a woman candidate, she is a Presidential candidate.
Romney gets 95% of Mormon votes. What percentage of Black votes does Obama get? What percentage of woman votes does Clinton get?

Romney is a Mormon, but he is not a Mormon candidate.

He is the Mormon candidate.

Romney is a Presidential candidate, and you should at least attempt to become somewhat more open minded and not show your prejudices so overtly.

if you love mormons so much, why don't you marry them? (you would be allowed to marry a bunch of them)

Winfield is a Mormon...
Well that explains his love towards Romney....

Romney 52%.

Looks like a majority to me.
I guess I was wrong then. It didn't look like it at that time. Good for you I guess. I am rooting for Romney in the Republican Primaries anyways.
