How did SC decide to allocate its delegates since it lost half of them?  Of the 47 the state usually has, 26 are at-large and are awarded to the statewide winner, 18 are district delegates and I assume 3 are given to the winner of each congressional district, the remaining 3 votes are RNC delegates.  Since SC was penalized half of its delegates it only has 24 this year so which delegates did they decide to give up?

Like Michigan, they decided not to make a decision.  They'll be challenging the ruling at the convention and hope to have their entire delegation seated.

If it should come down to seating only half of their delegation, they'll probably seat 12 by CD (2 each) and 12 At-Large...it would make the most sense.

Since McCain won statewide and in 3 out of 6 CD's, he'd get 18 to Huckabee's 6.

(If the party establishment is controlled by one candidate or another, they may change that up slightly...it can go anywhere from McCain 15 Huckabee 9 to McCain 24 Huckabee 0.)
