Did the union give them time off to go caucus or have they successfully pressured the remaining 2% of culinary workers into joining the Democratic party?

I was a member of the SEIU and I noted how their endorsement wasn't as big a deal as Obama and the press thought it was.  There is a huge disconnect between the members and the rank and file.

In most unions, rank and file and membership mean the same thing.

Leadership and rank and file?
