Rocky: My deputy
Hashemite: Minister of the Environment. We don't want to forget about that.
CPT MikeyMike: As the only member who I can think of who has recently served in the military, every cabinet needs him.
Speed of Sound: If he's Minister of Finance, the world wil be fixed in no time.
BRTD: Minister of Housing. We need someone to carry out those socially liberal policies!
Gporter: Lord Privy Seal. For use in extreme emergencies ONLY.

I would include a few other people (you know who you are), but I only have room for six.

I'd split the world into 5 spheres of roughly equal population, so, the Americas, Europe, ME and Africa, North Asia, Indian subcontinent, South East and Central Asia and Oceania.

For the Americas, I'd choose angus, for his no-nonsense approach and technological acumen; for E-ME-AF I'd choose Bono, for his economic knowledge and also relatively deep understanding of how the world works (and the fact he wouldn't ignore Africa), for the Indian subcontinent i'd choose Lewis Tondheim (sheating, I know) because of his openness and intelligence, and understaniding of fundamental political and cultural systems of that region and the world, for North Asia i'd choose...hard choice. Who is of Chinese ancestry? Everett maybe, plus we need a woman and someone to make us step back from just ruling in our little bubble, and for the gerrymander, i'd choose Polnut because of his policy experience and the fact that Australia would become the bastion of our government (seriously. It's a good location for the removed but powerful government i'd run).

As the sixth, I'd choose Colin, because he'd make a very strong alternate who could juggle all the competing interests and he has a good knowledge of the basics of a lot of stuff that would be important, from science to the world's resources, cultural issues and basically he has a slight but well-rounded machiavellian streak.

So:
Bono, angus, Everett, Lewis, Polnut and Colin Wixted. Not so much my favourite people here, but we'd probably form a very powerful, generally clearheaded team who could work without any serious internal rivalries-and I believe that everyone on that list would genuinely work for the common good.

Everyone is picking leaders for about 60 years to come in most cases. So, the world had better get used to them.

I'd need to do a lot of reading here to find out, but I'm sure Gabu and Gustaf would both make the short list.
