I don't hate Hillary at all.  And I will vote for her.

But I would prefer Edwards or Obama.  (Dodd or Biden, even more! LOL)

See, I think electing Hillary has a number of negatives associated with it.

1.    She is so viscerally hated by nearly all Republicans and some Democrats that she will be completely hobbled as President without a super-majority in Congress.  She will have terrific ideas and proposals.  Or, at least much better than what we've endured from The Decider for the last seven years.  But so what?  Everything she tries to do will die in Congress.  If Hillary finds a cure for cancer, here enemies would shoot it down.  Because it was Hillary's idea.  They hated Bill almost as much.

2.    Along those lines, I think we'll see the second coming of Ken Starr, Whitewater and other scandals (some real, many invented or created).  The continuous stream of bilge flowing over our fax machines and emails in the 90's will be resurrected.  "The Clintons had __________ murdered with the help of cocaine dealers."  "The Clintons hate America so much, they conspired with the Communist Chinese to give away American military secrets."  "Hillary participates in seances and Satanic rituals."  Blah Blah Blah.

I am SO done with that crap.

3.     She's socially liberal.  But she's economically moderate.  And I want an economic liberal, too.

That said, my top priorities are ending the mess in Iraq, addressing the income disparity in America and improving the environment.  As much as I might question Hillary's commitment to these issues, I absolutely know there is no Republican who would do better.

I could vote Socialist or Green.  But that would be a waste.  Then again, in Indiana, a vote for Hillary would be a waste too.
