Mike Gravel is God, and anyone who doesn't vote for him will not be taken away at the rapture is all I can say.

Sorry 1924 was a typo... but it's interesting to see the guesses of what I actually meant.
I thought you meant LaFollette... and could sort of see where you were coming from but felt Weaver a better example.

Because America never heard of him.

As to why Iowa and NH didn't give him the time of day...ask them.

I think I read on Wikipedia that he went bankrupt.  That is unfortunate for him personally, but it also speaks to a lack of skill managing resources.  This is the man we would have running the country?

I still don't get it. The guy has some wonderful ideas (like his National Intiative) and isn't afraid to speak truth to power. They could have at least made some room for the brillant figure in the debates.

Why does America love being lied to so damn much?

POWER TO THE PEEEE-OPLE! GIVE PEACE A CHANCE!

The National Initiative was actually the main reason I stopped listening to Gravel.

"Mike Gravel: So the entire country can be as screwed up as California."
