It is a shame that conservatives feel a greater need to express their blatantly imperialist will on Iran to subjugate them to a US puppet than building a good relationship with Iran based on their similar views of religion.

True, if not for religious bigotry, Iran and Conservatives in America would be using each other as inspiration in their attempts to return to an 11th century theocratic hell on earth where gays are stoned to death.

Clearly, you don't understand the terms being used here.  Liberalism doesn't mean, to most of the world, what it means in the context of U.S. politics.

Usually in the context of Liberal Democracy:
