The question's kind of meaningless, in that there's no objective way to define where the "political center" is.  You'll never be able to get any two people to agree on what is "centrist".  You can only talk about this in relative terms (X is more liberal than Y), or you can define the center based on the average political leanings of a particular group of people.  Say, by defining the average American as being at (0,0), or the average Canadian as being at (0,0), or whatever.
