Far be it for me to raise a mob to administer justice to Phil, what do you think his punishment should be assuming Justice Ernest confirms his conviction?

The maximum penalty is:

1. 1 year ban from voting
2. 2 years ban from holding any office

There is no mandatory minimum.

You are allowed to edit your vote.

Don't get too excited, Phil has a right to appeal, should he need it...

I'd say 3 months no voting/ 6 months no office-holding. Seems fair.

No punishment. I saw no intent to committ voter fraud.

And I will happily represent him in that appeal, but Justice Ernest will need to assign a sentence if he considers that a guilty verdict has been delivered.

Interesting idea, though I am not sure as to the legal validity of a suspended sentence.

The CCJB doesn't mention it.

Does the jury pick the sentence, or does the judge?

Service as President of the Republic of Atlasia.

Whether it is the assigned punishment or not, it will happen. Oh, and you will regret this.
