I had intended to wait until after the filing deadline to announce these.  But, since other parties are announcing endorsements, and ours are not likely to change, the Democratic Party proudly endorses the following candidates for Senate:

District 1- Handzus26 (IP-PA)
District 2A- Akno21 (D-MD)
District 2B- Umengus (D-VT)
District 3- Texasgurl (D-WI)
District 4- Harry (IP-MS)
District 5- PlatypeanArchcow (UL-CA)

So am I, although I helped to make the endorsements so it's not entirely surprising.

I'm not sure and I don't make those decisions anyhow, but you would be a good choice for Lt. Gov, and I will attempt to have you endorsed by my party.

I personally endorse Freedomburns for Governor and Lewis Trondheim for Lt. Governor of the Pacific region.  If 2 other members of the Democratic Party will agree (Akno and one other), that will be sufficient for a party endorsement.  Visitation to the Dem Party forums has dropped off to just Akno and me lately; that is where this should be discussed.

We don't hate you at all, ILV, and we might have considered endorsing you, if you were not so adamantly opposed to our party's very existence.

Actually, it's your name's existance, not your existance Wink

Actually, you could fill the center-left/center-left niche quite nicely.

PlatypeanArchcow has not posted in the forum since August 3rd, that is nearly 2 weeks now.  If the candidate does not make any posts before Wednesday, I am going to reccomend to my party that we withdraw our endorsement.  I would hate to see District 5 elect a Senator who doesn't show up to be sworn in.

I've talked this over with my party, and we have decided to let our endorsement of PlatypeanArchcow stand.  We hope the candidate shows up in here sometime soon.

If he wins, and does not ever return, I think the court will rule that the second-place winner gets the Senate seat.
