I would be absolutely floored if Richardson endorsed Obama.  The entire time he was in, he was running as the "experience" candidate; for him to then endorse the "change" candidate would just be bizarre.

As you might imagine, I'm not exactly expecting it to happen.

VP slot promise, perhap? Richardson is good balance for Obama. And he had said something previously, after dropping out by prior to South Carolina, about being torn between Obama's great vision and loyalty to the Clintons.

This entire time I've been expecting him to jockey for Clinton's VP, not Obama's.

Why would Clinton name him as her VP? She has nothing to gain from it, and I'm sure Richardson knows it.

On the other hand, the endorsement, if true, could be Bingaman rather than Richardson.

After Richardson's deal with Obama in Iowa I'd be very surprised if he doesn't endorse Obama.

What deal is that?

Supposedly, Richardson's organizers were told to encourage his supporters to caucus for Obama where they failed to make viability. The Richardson campaign denied the rumor (but, then again, of course a campaign would deny such).

Moveon ran a poll of its readership/membership to determine whom to endorse.

The Mexican American Political Association (MAPA), a political-civic organization with origins dating back to the Kennedy administration, has endorsed Barack Obama for the Democratic presidential primaries and caucuses. No endorsement was made for any of the Republican Party candidates.

Wow, that's sort of unexpected (?).

Not after the El Piolin broadcast with Ted Kennedy.

Greg Nickels, mayor of Seattle, endorses Obama. This will matter if Feb 5 is not decisive as Washington is only four days later.

Rep. Rosa DeLauro (CT) to endorse Obama:

That makes 3/4 of Connecticut's Democratic congressmen.

Not an endorsement for Obama per se, but a NJ superdelegate who had previously endorsed Clinton has now become undecided.

Good news. Montclair probably voted for Obama, too, which I'm sure influenced her more than a little bit.

Now we need Rush Holt to do the right thing.

Also, I'm not sure if this got mentioned here yet, but Rep. David Obey (D-WI) has switched to Obama (was an Edwards supporter).

Also, Obama just gained a Nebraska superdelegate in Frank LaMere, chairman of the DNC's Native American Caucus. Too bad most of the Native-heavy states have either already voted or strongly favor Obama anyway.

Shadow Rep. Mike Panetta (D-DC) has endorsed Obama. I assume he's a superdelegate, but I'm not certain.

For clarification, he is the elected representative for DC under the DC statehood constitution, but he does not sit in the House. Eleanor Holmes Norton is the elected non-voting DC representative in the House.

Chet Culver endorsed Obama. Would have been nicer a month and a half ago, but oh well Smiley

The post he linked to does provide links to more reputable sources, and it's in a neat collection.

Probably the congressman with the most to lose in the case of a Clinton candidacy.
