Was no Ciresi-Coleman matchup included? This is the pollster that people think is a bit dodgy isn't it? Also, when is the DFL Convention to choose the nominee, is it held on the same day as the Minnesota Primary on Super Tuesday? So in other words, will we know by then?

HHH sucks as a polling outfit (uni poll). Please toss.
Franken will be nominee - bet on it.

They did include Ciresi; he trailed Coleman by a couple of points.

Weird. I'd still prefer Ciresi.

Here's hoping the tradition of having this seat represented by a Jewish liberal can continue! Go Franken!

But Franken's not very electable. His abrasive manner, far-left positions, and political inexperience will surely hinder his chances at winning over crossover voters in the general

I don't think he's any more liberal than Wellstone; also, he is not overly abrasive, and he will be helped by Minnesota voting around 55% for the Democrats in the Presidential race.

I don't find his manner "abrasive" at all. And what are these "far left" positions you are referring to? I certainly can't think of any.

On the GOP side, for 2016, look out for Gov. Phill Kline (KS), Gov. Ralph Reed (GA), Gov. JD Hayworth (AZ), Sen. David Vitter (LA), among others.

Safe Coleman.

HI sucks but this isn't exactly far out of line with the other polls that have come out on the race. It'll probably be close, which is sad on so many levels for Republicans.

Most polls say 43/40 coleman/franken, and this one says 43/40 franken/coleman. hardly seems enough to get excited about or to harshly critique the polster. Basically we've all known the race is even from the getgo.
