I wish to have a debate with my Senate opponents, RReagan4EVER, and 57Opinions, for the good of the voters to see where we stand on issues important to Atlasia.

If anyone has any questions, please ask them.

I think a debate is neccessary, whether it be here or on AIM, but preferbly here, because it's simpler, less complicated to organize.

What economic policies should the federal government pursue in order to stimulate job creation?

The government should offer tax breaks to small businesses, based on how many employees they employ.
It should not stop companies from outsourcing, but have a policy that if they do, they lose any tax breaks they might otherwise be getting and attempt to insert policies that would make it more economically feasible for a large company to keep jobs in the United States.

I think the type of policies FDR implicated during and after the Great Depresion such as the CCC. I think trying to change and get rid of outsourcing is unrealistic. If a company can save money and produce more goods at a cheaper price they are not going to stop.

I never said we should stop outsourcing. I said we should make it finanically harder to do, because, face it, it hurts ordinary Americans/Atlasians.

What is your opinion on prayer in public schools?

Students can pray all they want, but teachers should not be involved. In teh morning, if a teacher walks by and sees a student very quiet and focused, he/she should let the student pray, and not punish him for it. Teachers should not lead prayers and teachers should not say, "Now you may pray". If students want to pray, they can do it on their own.

A question to Senator Akno: If a vote was to come up concerning funding of troops in a military operation you opposed, would you vote for or against the funding?

I think that of course if a Student wants to pray they can. I also think a Teacher or Administrator should be able to lead the school in prayer in an assembly or at the appropriate time, they are not forcing anyone to pray.

Since I entered the race I think I should answer some of these questions. My stance on prayer in school is this: there should be no prayer led by the teacher or a adminisator, however if a student wants to say a prayer to him/herself and only to him/herself that is ok, as long as its not while class is session. im also not against the pledge saying one nation under god.

I also like to take this question Keystone. Before I voted I would make it clear and on the record I oppose this operation. However I am for giving the troops all they need out in the field. What I am opposed to is giving the President a blank check and him using as much money as he wants. All funding should come thru the senate first. However, for the overall funding of troops in a war I oppose I would vote aye or yes.

I would vote for the funding, because even if I didn't think we should be there, face it, we are there, and I shouldn't be holding a grudge against the people who sent forces somewhere if the grudge will endanger our troops.

Senator, What would you do to try to reduce the defecate?

If you mean deficit, which I think you do, I would attempt to to reduce it by raising taxes on the wealthiest Americans, closing loopholes in business tax law, and I would cut back on NASA. I do not feel NASA has accomplished much of anything that is of any use over the past 20 years.

(sorry to butt in so to speak Wink)

I personally think if we try to reduce defecation then we will have some major bowel blockages. If we really want to reduce it we should clearly eat less fibre and take in most food in liquid form.

(I think you mean deficit, defecate means to discharge waste from the body through the anus)
