Did you make this topic so you could use the word "fortnight"? Tongue

Hugh does a lot of trips and has taken Atlas breaks before.  I'm sure he's OK.

No, actually, I use it in conversation.

If you hear from him, tell him I asked about him.

He's a busy man.  He contacts me once in a while.  Let's see...

Last personal message I got from him was December 19.  In it he says he's at ANU in Canberra, studying Arts with Spanish and American Studies majors and that he's also "kinda working on a third major," but wasn't sure if it will be Population Studies or International Relations.  He also says Canberra is a "bit of a hole."  I gather from all this that he's simply very busy and hasn't time for such nonsense as posting here.  I really think he's becoming a serious student and wants to try for some study abroad scholarship, so this site probably has become less a priority for him.  But if he says howdy to me again I'll make sure to let him know you miss him.  Better yet, send him a message.  He has been fairly prompt about replying to me in the past.

One of last posts was about losing his Internet connection for a week.  I'll PM him.

Hola a todos.

Last fortnight has been...bad. Beyond the no internet thing, mum and dad have been in and out of hospital for the last few weeks, and it seems they've chosen this moment to have a 'trial seperation', and i'm working 9 hours, 6-7 days a week in the bloody fish place. I appreciate the concern, and everything is more or less OK now. Back in Canberra is a fortnight, which should be a lot better. Can't believe that I said that....but I suppose if all I see of Melbourne is hospitals, home and Clamms Seafood it doesnt really matter which city i'm in. I haven't even walked my dog since...last year or so Tongue
