They both have new records coming out really close to each other, and I haven't heard either. I need to pick up the vinyl of that new Brand New tomorrow.

Anyway, I vote Brand New. Both are now super-hot topics on other forums now where basically everyone likes them (because it's "ironic" you see to both listen to stuff like Graf Orlock and Paramore.)

Neither, both are terrible bands. Time for people to get into Unwound.

Brand New is not 'terrible'.  by any theoretically objective standard.

It's not even good, subjectively. Take that!

If I had the will power, I'd force Nickelback and Brand New to knife fight to the death. Winner takes on MCR, or something else awful.

You know I'm just joshing. I want them to live long and fruitful lives (I'm serious), but I still don't like their music. It's nothing personal.

Dissonance in music is always a positive thing. Wink

Unwound is good too, though the bands they influenced tend to be better than them.

Paramore. They are sort of a guilty pleasure.
