30/33.  I missed 27,29 & 30.  Which isn't a surprise, I don't know a lot about economics.

Got all of them right except the last one and only because I didn't read it fully. Ah well.

Ridiculous Test however.

Some of these answers are pretty hilarious.

21)   Name two countries that were our enemies during World War II.
A. Canada and Mexico

"ah, yes, that World War."

I got 31/33.  Missed #27 because I didn't really understand what it was talking about, and #33 because I read "decrease" in B as "increase."

Yeah, that annoyed me. The economic questions are ridiculously biased, and have nothing really to do with American heritage or whatnot which this is supposed to measure knowledge of supposedly.

30/33, only missed on economic questions (27, 28 and 33). The last one was very frustrating, because i answered with logic and got it wrong Tongue I figured tax income only from taxpayers, whereas spending per peson includes non-taxpayers, so it couldn't be that. I knew the first answer was questionable also, but I figured it was the closest to being correct Tongue

It is a semantical question as much as anything else. But "debt" doesn't mean "deficit"--if the United States suddenly started running a balanced budget, like the question suggests, then the US would still be deeply in debt. We merely wouldn't be spending in a deficit. "Tax per person" of course doesn't mean "income tax per person" but rather all taxation combined, although the assumption that it only means taxes paid by the individual (so maybe including property taxes, but probably not including sales tax and almost certainly not including corporate taxes) is an intuitive one.
