Will Clinton could spin this by saying it only took her a matter of seconds for her campaign funding to be increased by 5 million?

$6.04 million, now breaking Ron Pauls record (although this is probably somewhat longer than 24 hours at this point). Next target: $8 million, break Clinton's $5 million loan PLUS her $3 million fundraising targer that she isn't saying how it's going (well, we only found out about last month's loan, she likes to keep everyone out of the loop).

the counter doesn't update right away so at this point we really can't say when exactly he cross the $6.04 million mark

It's now over $6.04 million. I think to have much more progress will have to wait for tomorrow.
EDIT: I spoke too soon, now over $6.1 million!

Do you support government funded elections?
No. I support extremely strict spending caps.
The concern is how much money is spent rather than where it comes from (though after a certain point the two become hard to tell apart).
Spending caps unconstitutional, Buckley v. Valeo.

Perhaps fellow New Yorker Bloomberg could drop a cool $50 million into the Clinton for President coffers. He could well afford it.
If Clinton becomes President, he would then be a sure bet for cabinet.

I support that idea wholeheartedly. That would be a great way for Clinton to lose the nomination.

If for no other reason than that it would be illegal (though of course it would harm her otherwise, too).

Meanwhile, Hillary Clinton raises $3 million in the past 24 hours, and doubles her earlier call for $3 million over the next 72 hours to
a whopping 6 million
in the next 72 hours!
Sorry, Hill, been there, done that it seems.

Seriously, when this is over, people will wonder how she has managed to manage her campaign so horribly.
I have been wondering why Obama has destroyed Clinton in the caucus states. I thought maybe she was just running on the inevitability things, looking to pile up delegates in the big races, and not worrying about the quibbling little details like building infrastructure across the country. That seemed ridiculously cocky though.
Could there be a financial reason that we are seeing now? But she had money earlier in the process. Did Obama invest in a ground game and Clinton ... just blow it? Seems peculiar.
Did Clinton even visit states like Idaho, Colorado, and Kansas? I think she was basically just ignoring those, instead focusing on a "swing state strategy" like we saw from both people in 2004.
I think they did put some actual effort into Colorado, with both Clintons visiting the state.... but they pretty much ignord the other two you mentioned. I doubt they expected to be beat quite as badly as they were in them though.

A Clinton aide said they raised $4 million yesterday. Just FYI. Of course, as Mitt Romney found out, money don't buy votes. We'll see in this situation...

Obama's at 7.35 million now.
Anywho, Hillary raising $4 million is certainly good for her campaign, but the question is whether she can keep it up. That she had to loan $5 mil from her own purse probably encouraged her supporters to donate to try to make up for it, but it also energized the Obama supporters into donating as well. Even with a fundraising disadvantage Hillary can still be formidable, but again she has to at least get enough donations to stay competitive.

It's now up to $7,000,000 + in 30 hours, exclusive of her $5 million.
