i dug this info up on politics1 on his veep...leroy pletten:

He lost a race for local school board in 2003 as the party's nominee (6%) -- but notes in party literature that he's "been elected twice to the board of directors of his condominium owner's association."

Then he's a pretty bad Prohibition Party candidate.

He's probably voting Republican because the Prohibition Party is so weak that it can't get ballot status anywhere.

In 2004, Prohibition Party was on the ballot in Colorado and in Louisiana.

He lives in Washington State. He can't vote for himself.

Hmm, he's certainly a bit more conservative than your average Vashon Islander! Though he's originally from Lewis County, go figure.

F**king Lewis County.

I don't know where he votes (Alaska maybe?), but it's not here.

Zell Miller would make an excellent nominee for this party, BTW.  Plus, that would mean three 3rd parties will have nominated a former member of Congress from Georgia.

Especially funny given that he's the Prohibition candidate and Cindy McCain's a beer heiress. Tongue
