Now we move onto Round 2 finally. Now we also have an official bracket it can be found here:

http://www.bracketmaker.com/tmenu.cfm?tid=260580&tclass=

The 6 winners of the wildcard were Arizona, New Hampshire, Rhode Island, Maryland, Oregon and Hawaii with Oregon winning the whole thing. Hmm, I see a pattern there.

Now we have classic 1 on 1 duels. 4 way matches allow for external variables to take place. That is no longer the case. California didn't do so hot last round. It tied for first with Alaska and only beat Hawaii by one point. Wyoming meanwhile had a decisive win over three lesser states (ND, SD and NE). If California can win big here, it can redeem itself as a major player in this tournament. If not, California has a tough road ahead of it.

At least California has the north of the state, where instead of gay bashings they have gay marriages.

There are parts of California that would have gotten my vote without second thought, but I had to go with Wyoming as things stand.

Wyoming barely, even though California is kick ass in San Fransisco, Yosemite and the Sierra Nevada, lots of it also sucks. Wyoming has Yellowstone, the Tetons and almost no people. Thats cool.
