Considering Seattle and Remond aren't even in yet, could Obama break 70%? He'll landslide both, of course, but by more than he's doing in the rural counties?

Indeed. Washington is only going to get worse for Clinton. On the subject of Clinton, I'm watching CNN and she's speaking. Is it just me, or does she just get progressively louder and angrier sounding in every one of her speeches? She reminds me of my mom.

I hate how she speaks, its sounds very cold and rehearsed. Plus shes slightly monotoned....its annoying.

I dont like revelling in Clinton bashing, which seems the sport of choice amougst many Dems at the moment... but she cant inspire to save her life, now being President isnt all about inspring or providing leadership (or at least the impression of it - see the current president) but it's pretty damn important... i simply can imagine how she (or for that matter Gore frankly) would cope with somthing like 9/11.

Doesnt on its own mean she wouldnt be a good president... but the ability to project your self as a credible leader is pretty important.

I can just imagine how she would sound during an hour long State of the Union every year.  Ugh.

I like how shes praising Kaine as if enough ass kissing is going to sway his endorsement from Obama to her.

Exit polls look good for Obama, though it'll be a close win.

No she doesn't (thus far).

Pacific is listed at the NYT as 80%-11% Clinton; it should be 55%-41% Obama.

Obama leads in every county, although Franklin will be close.

Really, could she have kissed more VA Democrat ass? "I heart Mark Warner, Doug Wilder, Tim Kaine,...and Mark Warner!".

Huh?  Why?  CNN has the 80-11 numbers as well.

Post some info from the poll?

Exit polls in LA say 53-45 Obama. He also did better among women than men Huh (54-45 among women, 52-45 among men; I guess the racist-and-sexist vote turned out.)

Weird.

Washington Democrats say 70-52 Obama, a number that makes much, much more sense.

The race question is incredibly ugly.

White (50%) Clinton 69-28
African American (44%) Obama 86-14

Male (43%) Obama 52-45
Female (57%) Obama 54-45

MSNBC says Obama leads exit polls by a "substantial margin".

Likely translation: more women were black.

Male (43%) Obama 52-45
Female (57%) Obama 54-45

That's an interesting gender gap.

http://www.cnn.com/ELECTION/2008/primaries/results/epolls/#LADEM

Some interesting points:

Obama leads all age groups except over 60/over 65.
Obama manages about 28% of whites. Clinton only gets 14% of blacks. Racial breakdown was 50% white, 44% black, 5% Hispanic.
Clinton wins the non-church-goers, who had favored Obama so far, but Obama won every other religious category.
Obama wins all regions, but only just barely scrapes by in Cajun Country.

I think its more a product of race distorting the patterns we've seen in other states than anything else... still odd I'll grant.

It will be interesting to see how close the actual results (esp. concerning whites) are to the exit poll.

Has King county come in yet? If not, could Obama keep Clinton under 30%?

Probably (as I said), although it is also possible that men were simply more likely to be racist (as Clinton's vote did not go up among men; Other did).

Obama 14     Clinton 05     Outstanding 59
Nebraska:
Obama 10     Clinton 03     Outstanding 11

All but the 5th (rich) and 32nd (like two people) are pretty much in.

CNN says that Louisiana is the first southern state where Obama has the more "diverse" constituency.
