Used to live there (and will be going back there soon), but I go to collage in Shropshire (ie: home to some of the worst petty corruption and blatent incompetence in the U.K) at the moment.
It's got some nice hills and really weird geology, but the public services are a joke...

BTW you've been to the City of Durham have you? Did you see the Cathedral?

How is a public transpost system good if it always late? Smiley

I seldom have that problem, but that's related to the fact that I can take most subways.

Excellent, another Londoner! Smiley

Public transport here is absolutely atrocious in my opinion. Quite possibly the worst in the industrialised world. Over-priced too (£5.40 for a day travel ticket, sheesh). I have to commute from NE London to Chislehurst every morning and the incompetence of London Transport is simply driving me nuts. Honestly, don't get me started, I could rant for ages...

Btw, just a general question for you guys, while we're on the subject of user names: do you think I should change my name to the snappier "Michael Z", or should I stick with my current winning score in Scrabble?

Somehow I'm reminded of a scene from The Shining...

Btw, we should try and get everyone to spell their name backwards here. A new user would arrive and just think "What the...."
