I know from past experience that neither the moderators or Dave are able to delete an account. You can still leave if you want, but your account will stay intact incase you ever decide to return (and I hope you do).

Start complaining about it on your blog, the predictions section on the main site, and via AIM to various random members of the forum. Profusive use of the word "fascist" will help.
