It still boggles my mind why the Liberals chose that doofus. From the beginning I didn't see him as a serious candidate at all.

So what exactly did the fixed election dates law do?

As we've shown, nothing.

Especially if the person who passed it isn't going to follow it.

Has anyone else seen the Hail the Dear Leader Harper ads on TV?

Because MPs will investigate the Conservative Party In And Out Scandal and kill Harper's political future if he doesn't call an election?

In every election campaign, the governing party has dropped in the polls.

Just sayin'.

The big loser in all of this will be the NDP.

Obviously the Liberals will devote much effort toward looting NDP supporters in order to defeat the Dear Leader Kim Jong Stephen.

It's the NDP and Bloc who have consistently voted *against* the government each time.

And each time the Liberals either vote yes because they're too scared of an election, or half of them walk out and the remainder vote no to make it seem they oppose the government.

It's the NDP who stand to lose the most here. Last time they worked hard to loot the Liberals. This time the reverse will happen.

If Harper gets a majority then the Conservative Party Logo would be on the coins and Steve's face would be on the currency bills.

I'm not kidding.

Maybe there should be an Ethnic Chinese Party. Or Ethnic Italian or Portuguese Party. Or a Punjabi Party. Or...

Anyone seen the NDP Rovian attack ads? They turn Stephen Harper's "Strong Leadership" theme against him.

It's also strange that the Canada debate will take place on the same time as the Biden/Palin VP debate.

^ That was seen by everyone as an admission that the Liberals were giving up.

I watched a part of the French debate.

Basically everyone took turns ripping into Steve, and comparatively little time was spent by the opposition parties bashing each other.

Whoever wins, it sure isn't Steve.

Looks like Stephen Harper will have to reverse course on his crime promises:

Jack Layton talked about it a while back, but Dion immediately fired back and refused.

But anything's possible and if (C > L) && (C < 154) && (L + NDP + G >> C) it may require the Governor General to do something for once.

Yesterday he said there are many buying opportunities on the market. It doesn't go well with those whose RRSPs have been devalued so much lately.

The September economic numbers (unemployment, GDP growth, inflation, etc) will be released tomorrow.

People will have four days to think over them when considering their vote.

At least I can say I did my part to get rid of Gary Lunn.
