what usually happens?
Well, apparently Obama won that in Virginia, so nevermind. But I thought that Clinton always won that question.

Well, gee, I think CNN may have just sort-of implied they might call Wisconsin upon close.

They at least used the same wording that they have used in the past when that happened.

But it was unclear...we'll see.
That means that his margin would be like 20%. I doubt it...

Leaked polls were correct, apparently.

Um... McCain is a horrible speaker. Like, Christ. Not only is his sentence construction abysmal and confusing, he doesn't understand how to control a crowd like Obama or even Clinton to an extent. And his jokes suck.

I guess he's speaking so early so that he doesn't compare unfavorably to Obama again...

So, do the networks have access to numbers we don't? Because they apparently can't call the state at 0%, but can call it at 0.1%.

Is she not going to congratulate Obama? What a spiteful word-that-rhymes-with-witch.

Also, Obama could win a net of about 8 or so delegates.

Obama and McCain on opposite ends of the spectrum when it comes to speaking.

So were Bush and Gore.
Bush and Gore were both uninspiring. One was boring, the other was gaffe-prone.

I love how the networks are giving Obama what is essentially a free, hour-long commercial.

I never bought into that one myself, BRTD.  However, it is one of the things that will distinguish Texas, ever so slightly, because the downballot races will be on the ballot in that contest...
Other states hold separate Presidential and down-ballot primaries? That's odd...

The only other state which held a simultaneous Presidential/down-ballot primary so far is Illinois.
Eh, I guess living in Texas has just led me to assume that other states do it that way as well.

What a waste of money though...

CD1: O3, C3
CD2: O5, O3
CD3: O3, C3
CD4: O4, C2
CD5: O2, C1
CD6: O2, C1
CD7: O3, C3
CD8: O3, C3

Current numbers. If these hold, Obama also gets +2 super-delegates from the reps of CD3 and CD8 who promised to endorse the winner of their district.

Also, Matthews' question was ridiculous. Can anyone name anything that Clinton has accomplished? Voting for a war that's killed thousands, yes, but anything else?

Yes, yes she is. A Keith O/Norah O broadcast would be the best, I think.

Yes, Chuck Todd is worth more than CNN's fancy touch-screen map technology.

Underestimated himself again. I'm beginning to think this "leaked" spreadsheet wasn't a real campaign spreadsheet at all. Tongue
